Take a seat in the restaurant, have some food in the bar with your four legged friend or settle in with a newspaper in the snug. We’ve nine beautiful en-suite bedrooms upstairs too; perfect for resting your head after your day is done.  So whether it’s a quick tipple or a long and luxurious stay – The Pickled Parson has it covered.

We hope you like what we’ve done with the place. Formerly The Crosshill Hotel, we’ve restored and modernised the listed building into a smart, community venue.  We didn’t find any ghosts on the months we spent on the building, but ‘The Pickled Parson’ makes reference to the folklore tale of the local clergyman whom was said to have been preserved in salt after his passing by his wife in order for her to collect his yearly donations from the town’s people!
